A large part of production processes encompass the use of thermal energy and/or at least some sort of conversion of energy into work.
Nevertheless, in many cases a portion of the energy is lost during the process in the form of heat, although the use of heat recovery solutions has become increasingly popular, with the residual heat once again directed into use.
